Raid Rules: Looting
General
Raiders are responsible for being up to date and aware of looting rules.
Minimum requirements for looting for mains and raid alts are set out in the "Raid Main and Raid Alt Requirements" post in the Raiding Information forum.
Looting Hierarchy
Raid mains loot ahead of raid alts. Raid alts loot ahead of general alts.
All raid mains will have an armour rate, jewelry rate and weapon rate based on their attendance and looting history.
These rates can be viewed by clicking on the Loot Database V2 link in Link Box on the top left of the home page.
The relevant loot rate (armour, jewelry, weapon) will determine the winner in most cases.
Exceptions apply to progression and special loot items:
To win these items you must be fully adorned, have minimal stats.
Other exceptions may be made from time to time based on raid leaders discretion.
Assosciates:
As you are Raiding on Characters From outside of the guild you are only able to /need on the one Character in which you have applied to have as the Associate Character. If you want loot for another Character on your Account you will Have to /Bid in plat. If you are Asked by the Raid Leader to assist a Raid on another Character the only loot you can get is again for the Main Character you applied with for the guild as an Associate.
Looting Process.
Please note it is generally not permitted to switch accounts during a raid for the purpose of looting. The process as outlined below is only for toons that are currently on the raid.
The policy re switching toons to loot follows this section.
The item will be linked in raid chat.
If you want the item for your raid main and have not yet looted for the night, then you /r need
If you want the item for your raid main but you have already looted, you should indicate you have already looted by /r need aw
If you want the item for your raid alt, /r Need RA
If you want the item for a general alt, you can bid, minimum bid being 50 plat.
If you win via a bid then you should /split 999 00 00 00 (where 999 indicates your winning bid)
New loot should not be equipped for at least 10 minutes, in case there is a dispute or error.
If you wish to dispute loot allocation, you should send a tell to the raid leader or officer in private with your reason for the dispute within 5 minutes of loot being allocated.
If you wish to dispute loot allocation, you must ensure that your dispute is supported by either loot rate or loot eligibility according to rules:
eg recipient does not meet requirements to loot
or someone else who needed has a higher loot rate
or recipient has already won loot and did not /r need aw
or some other supporting rule
Switching Accounts to Loot
Raiders are not permitted to switch accounts for the purpose of looting, except when all the following conditions apply:
The loot would otherwise be transmuted
There is space on the raid for the character to join without anybody having to leave the zone or camp out.
The character coming in to loot has access to the zone.
The character coming in to loot is outside the zone, ready to be zoned in immediately.
A minimum cost of 100p applies.
If an item is not required by a main or raid alt, and there are no bids for general alts, the item may then be opened to toons on other accounts, subject to the above rules.
The same hierarchy and process will follow for toons on other accounts as for general lootings: mains before raid alts before general alts, with exceptions as noted below.
If you are playing your raid alt at the request of the raid leader, the 100p penalty will not apply for switching to your main to loot.
The 100p will apply for switching to your raid alt for the purpose of looting during a raid.
The minimum bid amount for a toon on another account is 150 plat (50p min standard bid + 100p penalty)
